The electricity-free insulated frost-proof water trough is ideal for providing drinking water for 1 to 3 horses in locations without a mains water supply. The trough is manually filled and features a floating lid that protects the water regardless of the remaining water level.
It is specifically designed to withstand harsh winter conditions, providing frost protection down to -15°C without electricity.
Manufactured from food-grade HDPE, the trough is UV-resistant. Unlike concrete, this material is chemically neutral, ensuring that no harmful substances leach into the water. The double-wall construction is filled with high-performance polyurethane foam insulation, preventing the water from freezing in winter (down to -15°C) while keeping it cool during the summer.
To drink, the horse simply presses the central drinking disc in the floating lid. Once released, the lid automatically returns to its original position.
