The Ranger® AN4800 “2-in-1” fence energiser is designed as a 12V battery-powered unit.
The battery connection cable is fitted directly to the unit allowing connection to any rechargeable battery. An additional rear connection has been added to allow the use of a mains adapter (available as an optional accessory under reference 9HOR47PSU0008FEU). This adapter enables the device to operate on 230V power.
Thus, when the unit is connected to the mains adapter and a 12V battery, this “2-in1” device can operate in standby mode. In the event of a mains power failure, it continues operating via the battery supply and, if fitted, the solar panel.
